Love, Joy, Peace...
HEALTH UPDATE FROM THE DS:

Hello District Family,

I hope you are enjoying the blessings of the Lord and sharing those blessings with others.

I wanted to share a quick health update and request for continued prayer.

We are still rejoicing in God's healing touch that reversed my liver disease from Stage 4 to Stage 3, truly a gracious miracle. One of the joys of that change in diagnosis was that it made me eligible for a new treatment that had recently been approved and showed promise in treating Stage 3 liver disease. I began that treatment this week, but unfortunately suffered a severe allergic reaction to the treatment after only 2 doses. I had to immediately stop the treatment and also deal with some difficult effects from the reaction.

The doctor has said that I can't take any more of the treatment. Since that is the only known cure for Stage 3, they're back to monitoring me on a regular basis for further development but have no other medical assistance to help me improve.

We've been in this position before - an incurable disease with no medical or scientific hope for healing, and we've seen God do the impossible and reverse the irreversible! We are so grateful for your prayers to this point and humbly ask that as you think of us, you will continue to pray with us for another miracle of reversal and complete healing of my liver.

If I had been able to take the treatment and had been healed, while we would have rejoiced and praised God, knowing that He is the ultimate healer, the new "wonder cure" would have gotten much attention and praise from my medical team. Now that I can no longer take the treatment, if God sees fit to heal me completely, He alone will get all of the praise and honor and glory, since we've been told once again that there is no scientific or medical help available.

We thank the Lord for His touch to this point. We have seen Him reverse the disease from 4B to 4A and 4A to Stage 3, we know He can keep up the good work He has started and we are trusting Him for the future. We are so grateful for your prayers, love, support and concern throughout this journey and appreciate your continued prayers for complete and total miraculous healing.

It's a joy and blessing to serve the Lord and count you as part of our Christian family. We pray God blesses you richly for your many kindnesses to us.

Onward and Upward,
