PLAN A VISIT TO UNITED WESLEYAN CHURCH
Visiting any church for the very first time can make you feel anxious and nervous, but we wish to replace those feelings of uncertainty with anticipation and hope and feeling of belonging. We would like your first visit to United Wesleyan Church to be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience worshipful music, Biblical and helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home”! Here is what you might expect on your first visit.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE:
A nursery is available for children three years old and under. For children, youth, young adults, and senior adults, there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes on Sunday morning. These classes are staffed with friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your family. Our greeters are located on campus, as well as in the lobby of the main worship center. They will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place and you will be able to pick them up immediately following the morning service.
Great Bible teaching and worship is not limited to Sundays only. We gather each Sunday evening for worship and prayer together. On Wednesdays at 7PM, Bible Studies are held for every age group in your family. Our JOY Group, comprising of individuals 50+ years in age, is very active in ministry and meet each month.
OUR WORSHIP and WHAT TO EXPECT:
When you come to United Wesleyan, you can expect to feel welcomed, loved, and important. Many people who visit our church comment that our church family is friendly and warm. We do our best to make everyone comfortable. We are the end of your search for a friendly church. At UWC, you are among friends. Come as you are!
We are sure you will enjoy our 11 a.m. worship service. Our worship begins with worship and praise in song. We have a good balance of music comprised of contemporary songs and hymns. Your heart will be blessed and encouraged as we bring glory to God and exalt His name. The worship in music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message.
